I was puzzled as to whether I was interpreting that correctly or not so I called them. I have to say their 'support' is amazing. the fellow who handled my call spent 15 minutes on the phone with me. He confirmed my 2 page spread interpretation. you do need the best version, but he also expanded on other features of that version. For sure it sounds like a terrific package.

I really like its capability for generating giant sized artwork, like billboards and signs at full size. The artboard in CorelDRAW can support objects up to about 100' X 100'. CorelDRAW can specify object sizes up to 3 decimal places. Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign can specify object sizes up to 4 decimal places, but at the cost of a smaller maximum art board size (227" X 227"). Illustrator generates cleaner, more precise graphics effects, such as outlining effects around letters or other objects. I like to use Illustrator and CorelDRAW together for building graphics.
Likewise Illustrator can do certain things better than CorelDRAW.Ĭorel has some unique tools Illustrator lacks. Things are even better combining the strengths of both applications. When it comes to final color output, I'm outputting within Adobe's range of applications.
